    STARS Basketball Player Development Model:

We are really excited to release our STARS basketball player development model. This model has been taken and adapted from USA Basketball's player development model.  At STARS Basketball, there is a place for EVERYONE to play.  We have designed our program to provide a More Than A Game Philosophy as well as a Developmentally Appropriate model for all players.  We currently offer leagues, camps and clinics at all stages in the model which we call the Introductory, Foundational and Academy divisions.  Each division is meant to build on top of the one below which will provide the best developmental environment for a youth basketball player. If you are trying to decide which division is the best please refer to the chart below to make an assessment of where your child fits best and will have the most fun. We do not have tryouts at any level, but we do have a placement evaluation at the Academy level to determine which players are ready for this type of training.
